My two current obsessions

I don't consider myself to be much of a "beauty products" girl, but I have taken a lover. For years I have attempted to take care of my nails, while occasionally getting a professional manicure. It has never failed, though, that my perfect manicure becomes botched either within the first or second day! What a waste of time and money it has been! But my new love, Shellac from CND offers perfect manicures with many colors---and it will not chip! They can last on your nails about two weeks! And the best part about it is that this product doesn't destroy your nails! It's only $25 too!


Obsession #2----Cinnamon Toast Crunch...for no good reason.

Triumphant Return?

I'm not so sure it's even socially acceptable for me to reunite with this old bloggy blog. So much has changed. Let's just put it behind us and focus on the present.

Presently I am sitting in my living room listening to Dylan play "Hey Joe" as loud as he can on his newly refinished electric guitar. I am fighting to keep my eyes open while I search for cupcake recipes. The pups are running in and out of the house. We are all avoiding having to pack up Dylan and send him off to Phoenix early in the morning. I'd say life is perfect.

The cupcake hunt is for a dear friend of mine who will be having her birthday party at our house next month. Wanna see the top contender? I have been obsessed with salted caramel ever since my lips touched the salted caramel ice cream in San Francisco at Bi-Rite creamery.
